I agree. Her resignation letter should have been on the president’s desk within 24 hours. I watched at least 2 women secret service agents that were out of their league. One (with the long ponytail) was hyped up and acting confused and the other couldn’t holster her weapon. the “roof” grade didn’t have a damned thing to do with it since the sniper managed to get there and the gradient on the other rooves were steeper but the officers were stationed there. We’re not stupid.

The brunette who couldn’t even holster/unholster her gun was particularly… amusing? I don’t want her to resign. I want her still in a position of authority and responsibility when Congress subpoena’s her sorry a*s, so she can be held in contempt for failure to respond and so that she cannot evade the questions which need asked, about what happened and what corrections are going to be instituted. Firing her or letting her quit just allows her to slide, deny access to info, and buck pass. I want her standing on the scaffold with a noose around her neck when it comes time to interrogate her. Once we get the answers, then they can kick the stool out from under her and watch her dance in the air. And let’s not forget Mayorkas. That PoS needs crucified as well.
This “protection service” was either so remarkably incompetent as to be unbelievable or it was part of a plot to get Trump killed, in which the Secret Service was complicit. For crying out loud, Trump didn’t even have a single SS agent on the stage with him, to interrupt any sight lines and shots. In fact, his “personal protection” detail was so “off mark” that the shooter had discharged all 5-7 shots before a single SS agent (who should have been right next to Trump) had even mounted the podium and reached Trump – and don’t get me going on the “counter-sniper” teams, who sat up on the adjacent roof watching a guy with a rifle set up and target the candidate while they did nothing (and didn’t even react until the shooter had already emptied half a clip). This wasn’t a “counter-sniper” team, it was a “counting snipers” team. WTF?
Ms. Cheatle has “gots some ‘splainin’ to do”. Let’s make sure she is forced to do so.
