We have the technology to get 100 mpg of gasoline for the cars we drive. We still only get about 35 mpg of gasoline. Why? Because Big Oil doesn’t want us to get 100 mpg of gasoline. We could have hybrid vehicles that everyone would love to own. But we don’t. Why? Because Big Oil doesn’t want us to own hybrid cars. We could have electric cars that don’t burn the precision oil that still remains in the ground. But we don’t. Why? Because Big Oil doesn’t want us to own electric cars.
