I cant afford ANY OF THOSE!!! That is a fucking HOUSE PAYMENT!!!!
You aren’t paying attention to the working ” man “. We, Americans cannot afford these prices. We can’t afford homes. Groceries
are out of control. America is going down the crapper. Families are DROWNING !!~
I no longer can afford a new car. My car is 10 years old and I only have
50 thousand miles on it. No longer thinking of a new car.
The only way people are having a snowball’s chance in hell of having a new vehicle is by leasing one. The payment on that cheap $93K Chevy High Country is just too ridicules to even comment on. However, I can say, that even at $58K I would not be able to afford one. The American auto makers did one of the dumbest things possible by not making cars anymore. A young married couple of 4, a husband, wife and 2 kids, cannot go out and pay over $60K for a vehicle. However, if they could buy a Fusion S model for $29K that would be something they might be able to afford. This is why Ford is in the tank, that and losing over $40K on every electric vehicle they sell.
I bought only one new truck in my life so far and that looks like it will be the record. In 79 after the second oil embargo. The new full size Dodge truck totaled less than $10,000 with financing. At around 16%. But I still felt like I had a chance to pay it off. Now no chance at all. Your key word for me in the article was “ small” most of what comes out of Detroit . And others wouldn’t pass for a mid-sized car when we were growing up. At 6 foot 250. And 70 years old. There’s a very small market of what I can even fit into.
Car prices are like I,am buying a House. You a down payment to .
