As a white person, who had been “name -called “within my own race, Yes, it happens, I mean really, what ethnic “minority” has not been given a slur to be used when needing to be shamed…. IE.. Italians are called what? Guidos, degoes, and what moniker are Mexicans given? Spics, beaners, and remember Pollock jokes, about being stupid??? I DO…. I will probably be censored for stating the truth, but TRUGH IS TRUTH, I can say that every time the slur was thrown at me for my ethnic origin, my skin grew thicker, my attitude more resolved, and my comeback more acrid. Spot on Markie! Every single person on earth has used slang (actually said the words). Anyone who disagrees, is lying, that simple. When you grow up, you hear these things and they show you what life is like. Some name call and others just walk away because they have other things (grown up things) to do. I’ve heard probably all of them for most every nationality. All those who I know when asked, tell me it didn’t bother them in the least, it just showed there was “something missing” with those people. No big deal!
