Linda, most of our domestic manufacturing has been decimated. Manufacturing plants closed and moved to China and Mexico. Virtually everything we buy today is made in China. This is stupid.
My old microwave oven crapped out. All the new ones are made in China, no matter which brand name is on it. GE microwave ovens? Made in China.
