I wish we had some one in charge in WNC; FEMA was allowed to take over in Asheville. What a mess; they have so little money for those who lost everything! They are calling when Helene went through here it was all flooding- then why are there thousands of trees down; we had hours of straight-line winds at 70 to 100 mph.

kamala was nowhere to be found during either storm. Samaritans Purse Franklin Graham (son of Billy Graham) was the first group there to start cleaning up and prayers for all the people at possibly the worse time in their lives. Trump was also there helping get supplies water and offering his property for workers to stay and eat while they worked. Now that is what i call a PRESIDENT. Kamala could care less. They just said Fema does not have enough money to help these people. They will give them a few dollars and say they helped Hopefully the red cross will help also

They are always the first to start the cleanup Franklin Graham goes all over the world teaching the gospel and has volunteers that are able and ready to go where they are needed after such a disaster as this. It is a wonderful thing to be a part of.

“Senators passed the measure in a 78-18 vote after the House approved it 341-82. Republicans supplied all of the no votes in both chambers.
“The bill provided $20 billion for FEMA—the same amount the agency received last year. It also gave FEMA flexibility to draw on money as needed, but it left out billions that had been requested in supplemental disaster funding.
“Many Republicans took issue with the stopgap bill for multiple reasons, including that it did not include the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act), which would require proof of citizenship in the voter registration process.
Please tell me what FEMA has to do with requiring proof of citizenship?
