  2. Good News from Almighty God — What is it, EXACTLY? Jesus told us this; Luke 4:43 43 But he said to them: “I must also declare the good news of the Kingdom of God to other cities, because for this I was sent.” — But, what exactly IS the Good News of the Kingdom of God? Is it… salvation? Or, is it much more than salvation? It is so very much more. This verse tells us much; Psalms 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. – First, who are the righteous? Luke 4:44 So he (Jesus) went on preaching in the synagogues of Ju·deʹa. — The righteous are those who do not take salvation selfishly, but seek to help others just as Jesus did and ordered us to do (Matt 28:19, 20 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”). – NOTE; teaching them. This command is a tremendous blessing, because when you obey Jesus and TEACH the Bible to others; THAT is how you learn the Bible! BY TEACHING IT. Not by reading it.
What else comes with salvation? Never being short of food, living forever in peace, NEVER being sick and etc. Time is short, and no one can save you; to be saved, or not, is strictly your responsibility (Gal 6:5). • The gospel of the kingdom is the good news of how God is restoring sinful, mortal people who believe the gospel and act on it to what Adam and Eve lost in the Garden of Eden when they sinned and became mortal and gave up their likeness of God, which had qualified them for ruling over the earth, as God stated in Genesis 1:26. God created mankind in his likeness so that they could rule over the earth, but because of the first human’s sin mankind is not the likeness of God. Therefore God sent Jesus to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom so that mankind could learn how to be restored to God’s likeness.
Jesus proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom through the anointing of the holy spirit by preaching the kingdom of God and performing miracles, which brought the kingdom of God, or God’s rule and authority, down to a to sinful and lost humanity to see and experience. Jesus’ disciples did the same and so must those today who proclaim the kingdom of God. Miracles powerfully attest to the kingdom of the one, true God and his power to heal and to save those who are lost in sin.
God is restoring to his likeness those who live according to the gospel of the kingdom in two steps. First by dealing with their sin through the blood of Jesus and by their putting to death their sinful desires and deeds. Next by restoring them to immortality at the resurrection of the dead. Those whom God restores to his likeness will be sons of God who will then be qualified to rule over God’s new creation. Therefore the destiny of the righteous is not to forever praise God in heaven but to fulfill mankind’s God-given purpose to rule on earth in God’s likeness over God’s creation!
This is a brief summary of the gospel of the kingdom and that mankind’s God-given purpose is to rule in God’s likeness over God’s creation as immortal sons of God.
This can be supported by many Biblical references in both the Old and New Testaments.
